Welcome To

Livingston County’s Stage Door to Professional Excellence
Thank you for visiting www.MAD-PAC.com. We are looking forward to another fun filled year of learning and excitement in the arts, helping you and your child get the most out of your experience. Michelle stands on the belief that there is a dance class for any child, any level, and any age that wishes to participate in the arts. Michelle has retained a professional, caring staff that will be enthusiastic and positive role models for the students. We invite you to drop by the studio, Michelle’s Academy of Dance and Performing Arts Center, affectionately called MADPAC, to observe the classes, check out the facility, and preview all the programs in progress.
The facility is located ½ block off East Grand River on Appian Way Drive. Our street is located directly across from Brighton Chrysler, turn when you see the big red sign for
the A & H Transmission Company.
Opened in the summer of 2004, the fulfillment of a lifelong dream of Michelle’s after working and training in the industry worldwide, Michelle’s Academy of Dance and Performing Arts Center, owned by choreographer and Artistic Director Michelle Marzejon, has seen tremendous growth in the community. The summer of 2005 Michelle expanded the studio for her students by adding a 2400 square foot performing room with a Marley sprung floor, an additional multi purpose classroom, offices and a MADPAC Store which sells Michelle’s MADPAC logo dance wear for the students. Add this to the three existing dance rooms with hardwood sprung floors the facility boasts more than 6000 square feet of dance space alone! A specially designed classroom for the 3-5 year olds has one way glass viewing. The lobby walls and hallways hold trophies and plaques from the Competitive Dance Company and student accolades adorn the bulletin boards and doors.
In addition to fall and summer programs and camps, MADPAC offers Master Classes taught by industry professionals several times during the year. The artists and choreographers come from varied backgrounds in the entertainment world and offer students the opportunity to experience a feel for the professional atmosphere of both the east and west coasts without leaving Michigan! For students wishing to continue their dance education beyond high school, Michelle and her staff councils both students and parents so they are better prepared for dance outside the Livingston County community.
Michelle has also opened her doors to Master Myers of Karate Kids and the studio is also the rehearsal home for The Michigan Dance Project, a not for profit professional dance company directed by Kathy King.
Michelle is proud that her studio was voted second best in Livingston County in the Press & Argus Peoples Choice Awards for 2006, 2007, and 2008 with her business so young! She will strive for the number one spot in the future with your help and encouragement!
Thank you,

Michelle Marzejon

Community Involvement
Michelle’s Academy of Dance and Performing Arts Center participates in and around the Livingston County community when opportunities arise. The MADPAC Company Dancers and studio dancers have performed at Brighton Relay for Life, the Howell Balloonfest, Brighton Art Fair, and as guest dancers with the Michigan Dance Project. The studio participates in the Brighton 4th of July Parade, the Howell Melonfest Parade and acts as a drop off and collection point for Toys for Tots. Michelle also supports local schools with rotating ads in yearbooks, donations to school functions, and a generous donation to Brighton Relay for Life. Giving back to the community which has been so generous to her growth is just one of the ways Michelle highlights the abilities of the students she and her staff teaches.
